I was expecting to look at all my friends blogs and see easter pics of all their kids, and feel down right sad that i didn't have any kiddos......because

• dying eggs just isn't as fun
• you don't go out and hunt for eggs anymore :(
• candy=fat
• no more pretty easter dresses or hats (maybe shoes though...hmmmm)
• no easter basket

i got up on Sunday and thought about how all this doesn't matter but what does matter is so much more important and i was grateful for the first time in my life to be older and to not have kids, because i got this precious opportunity to really focus on the meaning and importance of easter.
